Juneo™

Our biotech trans-resveratrol helps reducing signs of aging.

We supply Active ingredients for the development of personal care products.

Our topical active ingredients, made exclusively from microorganisms, fractions, or microorganism-derived products, are formulated specifically for personal care.

For the cosmetics industry, these microorganisms are creating new opportunities to innovate, especially in the emerging field of microbiome skin care.

Our Active Ingredients

JUNEO™ (trans-Resveratrol): Combatting Skin Aging

The appearance of our skin is influenced by internal factors (genetics and gender), environmental factors (pollution, sun exposure, and climate), and lifestyle factors (exercise, stress, sleep, nutrition, and skincare routine).

As we age, the skin’s antioxidant system weakens, leading to oxidative damage that causes cellular aging.

Effects of Aging on Skin

Aging can decrease collagen and elastin production, degrade these proteins, and affect immune function and lipid composition. This results in wrinkles, softness, dryness, and paleness. Photodamaged skin may also show dark spots and pigmentation.

Pollution as well as unhealthy habits (e.g. poor nutrition, sun-bathing and smoking) can contribute to the development of oxidative stress and damage our skin. This can cause age spots, wrinkles, and further forms of irritation, giving skin a prematurely aged look.

Benefits of JUNEO™ (trans-Resveratrol)

Our in vivo and ex vivo studies show that trans-Resveratrol plays a crucial role in regulating genes involved in skin health and aging. JUNEO™ (trans-Resveratrol) helps reduce fine wrinkles, pigmentation, and balances sebum levels, visibly lowering the signs of aging.

Resveratrol’s anti-oxidative and rejuvenating properties can contribute to the maintenance of healthier and younger looking skin
